Personal data

Kindvriendelijk does not require an account or registration and does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking. We do not collect, store, or share names, contact details, identifiers, or other personal data.

Location

The app may ask for permission to use your location while you use the app. Location is processed only on your device to show nearby places, calculate distances, and centre the map. Your location never leaves your iPhone and is not stored. The app also works without location access.

Favourites and settings

Favourites and filter settings are stored locally on your device. They are removed when you delete the app.

Suggestions and corrections

If you suggest a place or report an error, the text you choose to submit is sent anonymously through Apple iCloud (CloudKit). We receive only the submitted content, without your name, email address, or other identifying information. It is used solely to improve the list of places and is not shown directly to other users.

If iCloud is unavailable, the app can open an email in your own mail app as an alternative. In that case, your email address is visible in the normal way. We do not use that address for any other purpose.

Maps and directions

The map uses Apple Maps through MapKit. If you open directions, photos, or reviews in Apple Maps, or choose Google Maps, the privacy policies of Apple or Google apply to those services.

Data sources

Opening hours, telephone numbers, and websites shown in the app may include data from © OpenStreetMap contributors under the ODbL licence.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages (4+) and does not collect personal data from children.
